Some of the Dogs Saved From Nye County Are Ready for Adoption
NEVADA- A depressing update from the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) on the hundreds of dogs rescued in Nye County during the summer.
Tuesday, ASPCA authorities gave an update stating that 172 of the 276 canines could not be saved due to their health and had to be destroyed.
Numerous individuals suffered from a variety of severe medical issues, aggressions, and great dread, resulting in a low quality of life.
Six of the canines died following treatment, while 82 are currently healing at an Ohio clinic.
On the other side, the organization reports that 16 canines are currently available for adoption at the Nevada Humane Society.
In August, around 300 dogs were rescued from a residence in Amargosa Valley.
Two individuals were arrested on multiple counts of animal cruelty when additional canines were discovered buried across the property.
