Male Body Discovered by Las Vegas Police Close to “Homeless Camp”

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – After a man was discovered dead near a “homeless encampment,” Las Vegas police said a 33-year-old male was booked into the Clark County Detention Center.
According to police, the victim was involved in a violent argument with Shawn Jackson, 33, who resided in a neighboring encampment.
Around 5:30 a.m., police responded to a report of an unresponsive male in a desert lot near the intersection of Mountain Vista Street and Carol Circle. Saturday. Officers came and found the victim near an encampment.
The individual was pronounced dead by medical staff.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office will announce the victim’s identity, as well as the cause and manner of death.
