NEVADA – Governor Joe Lombardo has ordered an early closing of all state government offices in Washoe, Carson, Douglas, Lyon, and Storey counties today due to extreme weather and potentially dangerous road conditions reported by the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) and the Nevada Department of Public Safety (DPS).
State offices in these counties will close early today at 3:00 p.m., save for necessary public safety and prison workers.
The Governor’s office will keep an eye on the weather.
Governor Lombardo asks northern Nevadans to exercise caution on the roads and to heed all NDOT and DPS instructions.
