Chain Controls in Effect on Sierra Highways

RENO, Nev. (775 Times, NV Globe) – Chain control will be necessary on Thursday as a result of the winter weather. The following places have them in force:
- I-80 in both directions from the Nevada State line to Drum Forebay
- SR-267 from Northstar to Kings Beach
- SR-89 from Truckee to Tahoe City
- SR-28 from Tahoe City to Kings Beach
- SR-361 from the Churchill County Line to US-50
