Hard Rock International has released fresh images of a guitar-shaped hotel planned for the Las Vegas Strip
Those interested should apply online at HardRockHotelCasinoLasVegas.com/Careers by noon on January 27.
Hard Rock announced in 2021 that it will purchase The Mirage’s operations from MGM Resorts International for $1.075 billion in cash.
Hard Rock revealed plans to develop an iconic guitar-shaped hotel on the famed Las Vegas Strip as part of the deal. A comparable guitar-shaped hotel may presently be seen at the Seminole Hard Rock in Florida.
In a Dec. 2022 presentation to the Nevada Gaming Control Board, Hard Rock said the proposed guitar-shaped hotel would be built on what the company described as, “the 50 ya50-yardd line of the most economically productive street in America.”
The business indicated in the presentation that the guitar-shaped hotel will add 800-1,000 more rooms to the site.
According to the acquisition deal, MGM Resorts will keep The Mirage name and brand, licensing it to Hard Rock royalty-free for a maximum of three years while it finalizes its plans to rename the resort.
