Reno Man Arrested in Connection with Arson Fire After Domestic Violence Incident

Reno – Eduardo Martinez, 35, was arrested in a recent arson investigation. Martinez was accused of starting a Canyon Creek house fire on July 4th by Reno Fire investigators. His arrest followed an alleged domestic violence incident.
Investigations found that Martinez was involved in a domestic violence incident before the incident. Fire investigators found evidence that Martinez caused the fire. The arson destroyed the house and alarmed the community.
Martinez was arrested and placed in Washoe County Jail for various offenses. He faces arson, domestic violence, and child abuse/neglect allegations.
