Multiple Stabbings and Threats Lead to Arrest in Las Vegas Homicide

Las Vegas, NV – Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) has arrested 33-year-old Cornelius Williams in connection with a fatal stabbing early Saturday morning. The arrest report reveals he is also suspected of two additional stabbings and threatening another individual shortly before the fatal incident.
Details of the Incident:
- On Saturday, February 3rd, around 12:45 am, LVMPD officers responded to a stabbing report at an apartment near Paradise Road.
- They found the victim, Leary Adams III (51), deceased from a stab wound to the neck.
- Witness testimony and evidence, including surveillance footage, clothing identification, and facial recognition technology, linked Williams to the crime.
Additional Allegations:
- The arrest report details two separate stabbing incidents involving Williams that occurred earlier on February 3rd.
- He is also accused of threatening another stranger with a knife shortly before the fatal confrontation with Adams.
Charges and Prior Convictions:
- Williams faces charges of murder, two counts of attempted murder, and assault with a deadly weapon related to the stabbing incidents.
- He is also being held on unrelated convictions for felon in possession of a firearm and burglary of a business.
- Additionally, an arrest warrant was issued four days prior to Adams’ death for violating a court-mandated program.
