Man Found Fatally Shot in Las Vegas Street; Investigation Ongoing

Las Vegas police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred late Sunday in the northeast valley.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded around 11:20 p.m. after receiving a report of gunfire near Sandy Lane and Geist Avenue, close to Pecos Road and Las Vegas Boulevard. When they arrived, officers found a man lying in the street with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities have not released further details about the victim or possible suspects, and the investigation remains active.
