Two-Alarm Fire Damages Chinatown Strip Mall in Las Vegas

A two-alarm fire broke out Monday night at a commercial complex in Las Vegas’s Chinatown corridor, prompting a large response from the Clark County Fire Department.
Fire officials said the blaze was reported around 9:30 p.m. at a strip mall near Spring Mountain Road and Decatur Boulevard. Multiple businesses were evacuated as crews worked to contain the flames, which sent thick smoke across the area.
Dozens of firefighters were dispatched to the scene, and the fire was brought under control after about an hour. No injuries were reported, though several units sustained heavy damage. Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the fire.
Authorities temporarily closed nearby roads while crews secured the area and assessed the extent of property loss.
