The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) has announced the arrest of 44-year-old Sergio Reyes Rojas in connection with a sexual assault investigation involving a child under the age of 16. Detectives from the department’s Sexual Assault Detail took Rojas into custody on December 10, 2025, following an incident reported within the city. Rojas has been booked into the Clark County Detention Center and faces several felony charges, including three counts of sexual assault against a child, one count of first-degree kidnapping of a minor, and one count of child abuse or neglect.
Because Rojas has been active in local youth sports programs, investigators expressed concern that there may be other individuals who have not yet come forward. The LVMPD is currently encouraging anyone with relevant information or who may have been a victim to contact their Sexual Assault Detail or provide an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers of Nevada. The investigation remains active as authorities work to determine the full scope of the case.
