A pedestrian was killed early Thursday morning after being struck by a vehicle in the south Las Vegas Valley, according to police.
Authorities said the victim, a man in his 40s, was hit during a collision that occurred in the early morning hours. The driver involved did not remain at the scene and left before officers arrived.
