MAGA MAP EXPANDS: NRCC Elevates Carrie Buck and Marty O’Donnell in Major 2026 Push for Nevada

The National Republican Congressional Committee is making clear that Nevada sits near the center of the 2026 battlefield.
The NRCC announced today that Carrie Buck and Marty O’Donnell have been added to its MAGA Majority program, a national effort designed to boost the next wave of America First candidates as Republicans look to grow their House majority.
The move places two Nevada challengers inside one of the party’s top-tier recruitment and support efforts, signaling that Republicans believe both seats are firmly in play.
That is significant for the Silver State.
Nevada has become one of the most contested states in the country, with economic frustration, border concerns, and voter fatigue with incumbent Democrats creating fertile ground for challengers. By elevating Buck and O’Donnell early, national Republicans are effectively saying Nevada is not a side story in 2026. It is a front line.
Buck enters the program with visible momentum.
The longtime educator, charter school leader, former principal, and mother of four is running against Dina Titus in Nevada’s First District. Buck has already outraised Titus for two straight quarters, a notable warning sign for an incumbent who has long benefited from the advantages of office.
NRCC Spokesman Christian Martinez described Buck as a proven fighter for Nevada families who understands that common sense still matters, arguing she is ready to help Republicans lower costs, secure the border, and send Titus into retirement.
That line captures the Republican strategy in the district. Tie Titus to Washington fatigue, rising costs, and a decades-long political career while presenting Buck as a practical Nevada alternative with roots in education and family life.
O’Donnell offers a different but equally compelling profile.
The Trump-endorsed candidate in Nevada’s Third District is a former small business owner and a music composer known for his work on the Halo and Destiny video game franchises. Running against Susie Lee, O’Donnell gives Republicans a candidate with entrepreneurial credentials, cultural name recognition, and an outsider brand.
Martinez said O’Donnell is ready to finish the fight for Nevada families tired of being ignored by crooked Susie Lee and failed Democrat policies, arguing he can help lower costs, strengthen the economy, and send Lee packing.
The MAGA Majority program, formerly known as Young Guns, gives selected candidates early institutional support, strategic resources, and added visibility. In practical terms, that can mean fundraising help, messaging infrastructure, media amplification, and stronger integration with national Republican operations.
For Nevada races, that matters.
Congressional contests in Las Vegas media markets are expensive. Early money and national backing can shape narratives before Democrats are fully engaged. By putting Buck and O’Donnell into the program now, Republicans are trying to build runway while defining their opponents early.
The broader map also favors aggressive GOP targeting.
With more than a dozen Democrats currently representing districts won by President Donald Trump, Republicans believe the battlefield is expanding. Nevada, where affordability remains a dominant issue and national Democrats remain unpopular with key swing blocs, is naturally part of that plan.
This is the Nevada trend to watch. The state is no longer just a presidential toss-up. It is becoming a serious House battleground where Republicans believe they can compete district by district.
Buck and O’Donnell joining MAGA Majority confirms one thing clearly. National Republicans see Nevada as a place to win, not just defend.
