Bloodbath Reversed: Murders Plunge as Trump Closes the Border and Democrats Get Exposed

After years of excuses, chaos, and failed liberal policies, reality is finally punching back. The United States is experiencing the largest one-year drop in homicides on record in 2025, and Nevada is seeing the benefits firsthand as law and order make a long-overdue comeback.
Las Vegas law enforcement recently reported roughly a 30 percent drop in murders compared with recent years, a dramatic decline credited to focused policing, targeted enforcement, and letting officers do the jobs Democrats spent years trying to handcuff. The results are unmistakable: when criminals face consequences, violence drops.
This historic decline didn’t happen in a vacuum. It coincides with Donald Trump closing the border, ending the reckless open-border policies that allowed gang members, human traffickers, and violent criminals to flow freely into American communities. Fewer criminals coming in means fewer victims at home, a concept that used to be common sense before Democrats declared borders offensive and policing optional.
And make no mistake, Nevada Democrats fought this every step of the way. If Dina Titus, Susie Lee, and Steven Horsford had their way, the border would still be wide open, and Nevada would be well on its way to becoming a sanctuary for criminals instead of a safe place for families. Their priorities have been crystal clear: protect illegal immigrants first and worry about public safety later, if at all.
As murders fall and communities finally feel safer, the contrast could not be sharper. Conservatives backed enforcement, secure borders, and accountability. Democrats backed slogans, sanctuaries, and excuses. Only one approach worked.
As NRCC Spokesman Christian Martinez put it plainly, “While Dina Titus, Susie Lee, and Steven Horsford are working hard for illegal immigrants, American taxpayers are left out in the cold. It is clear that Titus, Lee, and Horsford’s priority is not their own constituents.”
Nevadans don’t need lectures from Washington elites. They can see the results with their own eyes. Crime is dropping, streets are safer, and the era of surrendering to lawlessness is finally ending. Law and order didn’t just work – it won.
