TRUMP BOOM: Jobs Surge, Wages Rise, American Workers Win

The latest jobs report didn’t just exceed expectations, it blew them out of the water. September delivered 119,000 new jobs, more than double what economists predicted. And here’s the part that will make Democrats choke on their talking points: these gains came overwhelmingly from the private sector and overwhelmingly went to American-born workers.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt summed it up plainly: President Trump inherited a mess and is now delivering results that Biden never could. “The September jobs report more than doubled market expectations… almost all of these new jobs were in the private sector and went to American-born workers instead of illegal aliens… Wages are rising… This strong report is more proof that President Trump’s pro-growth, America First agenda is already making great progress.”
Of the 119,000 jobs added, 97,000 came from the private sector. Health care alone added 43,000 new jobs, and construction, the backbone of America’s growth added 19,000. These aren’t bloated government hires. These are real, productive, economy-building jobs.
For the first time in years, wages are rising in real terms. Americans’ paychecks are up 3.8% over the past year, and since President Trump took office, workers have already gained back $700 in real wages on pace to recover a full $1,000 in Trump’s first year.
That means the country is clawing back one-third of the $3,000 in real wages families lost during the Biden inflation disaster. Under Biden, workers fell behind no matter how hard they tried. Under Trump, they’re finally getting ahead again.
Americans are getting back to work and working more. Labor force participation is up, weekly hours for production workers increased, and long-term unemployment dropped sharply. Confidence is returning. Opportunity is back on the horizon.
In a total reversal of the Biden years, where foreign-born workers gained 3.3 million jobs while Americans lost ground, every single net job gain under President Trump has gone to native-born American workers. Over the past year, 2.5 million American-born workers gained employment, while 670,000 foreign-born workers lost jobs.
Economists whiffed. All 67 experts surveyed by Bloomberg missed the mark. Meanwhile, the Atlanta Fed’s GDP now forecast now projects 4.2% GDP growth for Q3. That’s blockbuster territory.
More jobs. Higher wages. Rising confidence. A country moving forward again. President Trump’s pro-growth revival is here and American workers are finally back in the driver’s seat.
