A Las Vegas Coffee Shop Establishes a Program to Support Low-Income Schools and Nonprofits

LAS VEGAS – Las Vegas’ Founders Coffee helps youngsters achieve in school.
The shop’s “giving drink program” helps schools stock up on basics.
Every month, Founders Coffee creates a drink for a different organization. A dollar goes to the group for every drink ordered.
“Teacher’s Pet” assists valley schools in September.
Vanilla cold brew with apple foam and caramel drizzle.
Whitney Elementary kids will benefit. The school enrolls 100% economically disadvantaged children, according to a U.S. report.
Principal Melissa Roehm says they provide food, clothes, and supplies.
“We serve a very broad demographic of kids who just want to be loved,” Roehm added. “We have high expectations for underprivileged students. We give them the best education because we feel they need it to succeed in our community.
