Apparent Murder-Suicide Investigated in Henderson

Henderson Police and Fire Departments are currently investigating a suspected murder-suicide, the second homicide reported in the city this year.
Details:
- Officers responded to a welfare check on a residence located on the 100 block of Cielo Abierto Way near Horizon Ridge Parkway and Stephanie Street on Saturday, March 9th, at approximately 7:40 am.
- Upon arrival, officers discovered a deceased female and male, both 52 years old.
- Based on preliminary investigation, detectives believe the incident is likely a murder-suicide.
Out of respect for the ongoing investigation and the families involved, further details are not being released at this time.
The names of the deceased will be disclosed by the Clark County Coroner’s Office once next of kin have been notified.
