HENDERSON, NV — A woman was killed early Thursday morning after being struck by a vehicle along Boulder Highway in Henderson, prompting the arrest of the driver on felony impairment charges, the Henderson Police Department confirmed.

According to preliminary findings released by the Henderson Police Department, the pedestrian was in the roadway near Magic Way when a southbound Chevrolet Malibu struck her.

Emergency medical personnel from the Henderson Fire Department were dispatched to the scene, but the victim suffered fatal blunt-force trauma and was pronounced dead.
