California Woman Killed After Being Hit by a Vehicle Near Las Vegas Motor Speedway

A vehicle struck and killed a California lady Thursday night at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in the valley’s northeast.
It occurred at 6:19 p.m. near the intersection of Tropical Parkway and Hollywood Boulevard
According to Las Vegas Metro police, the 47-year-old lady was standing in the southbound lane of Hollywood aiding a semi-truck pulling out of a gravel access road when she was struck by a Nissan Versa heading south on Hollywood.
The lady, whose identity will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office, was taken to the hospital and declared dead.
The driver of the Nissan, a 41-year-old guy, remained at the scene and did not appear to be drunk, according to police.
The pedestrian’s death is the 118th under Metro’s authority for 2022.
