LAS VEGAS – Dylan Ihmels, a man from Henderson, was arrested and charged with attempted murder after a startling incident occurred in downtown Las Vegas. Ihmels is accused of stabbing another man between 30 and 40 times. According to the arrest record filed by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the assault happened on Ogden Avenue at roughly 9 p.m. on August 13.
The arrest report reveals that the altercation between Ihmels and the victim erupted due to a dispute over money. According to a friend of the victim, the conflict began when they were returning to their car in the Main Street Station parking lot. She recounted that Ihmels approached them and an argument quickly escalated into a physical altercation.
