LAS VEGAS, NVThe Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) Homicide Section has entered the second week of its investigation into the death of a woman found on a sidewalk in East Las Vegas. Detectives are doubling down on their appeal for the public to help identify a specific vehicle of interest captured on surveillance.

The Incident Recap

On Tuesday morning, April 21, 2026, at approximately 8:08 AM, patrol officers responded to the 3500 block of East Bonanza Road, near North Pecos Road, after a caller reported an unresponsive female. Upon arrival, medical personnel pronounced the woman deceased.

Evidence at the scene led investigators to determine the victim had been brutally battered during the overnight hours.

Vehicle of Interest: Silver or Grey Sedan

Surveillance footage retrieved from nearby businesses has identified a silver or grey four-door sedan that was seen leaving the immediate vicinity of the crime scene at approximately 7:45 AM that Tuesday.
