LAS VEGAS – As the Fourth of July approaches, the Las Vegas Valley gears up for a spectacular celebration filled with parties, festivities, and dazzling fireworks. For many, Las Vegas is the ultimate destination to revel in the holiday spirit.
“Vegas is Sin City,” exclaimed Audrey Harper, a delighted tourist. “It is going to have the bright lights, fireworks—everything you can imagine!”
Fremont Street becomes a hotspot for tourists flocking into Vegas for the Fourth of July. The iconic street is known for its vibrant atmosphere and is expected to be bustling with enthusiastic partygoers.
To ensure the safety of all revelers during the holiday weekend, Protective Force International, a private emergency response team, will be in full force. For the past four years, their officers have been stationed throughout various casino properties on Fremont Street.
Jonathan Alvarez, CEO of Protective Force International, emphasized their commitment to keeping Las Vegas safe: “Our officers train with the casino security staff, and we are that added layer of safety and security to ensure that Las Vegas stays the safest.”
As part of their efforts, the team is expanding their resources to cover additional properties, including the renowned Plaza Hotel and Casino. Jonathan Jossel, the CEO of Plaza Hotel and Casino, expressed his satisfaction with the partnership: “We want to have that extra physical presence here, to have the extra force of these guys. They have joined us, and we are going to have that every day here on Main Street.”
The collaboration between Protective Force International and casinos like the Plaza demonstrates a significant stride towards enhancing safety within the entertainment district. Alvarez emphasized their primary goal is to serve as a strong deterrent for any potential threats.
“You have a professional security officer that is in a nice professional uniform. I guarantee you that the bad guys will look elsewhere to do something,” stated Alvarez.
In the spirit of community safety, Alvarez urged everyone to play an active role by reporting any suspicious activities: “The best thing you can do to help stay safe is simple: if you see something, say something.”
As the City of Lights prepares to celebrate Independence Day, the combination of vibrant festivities and increased security measures promises an unforgettable experience for all who participate. Visitors and locals alike can look forward to a joyous and safe celebration in Las Vegas.
Stay tuned for more updates on the upcoming Fourth of July celebrations and safety measures as the holiday approaches.
