
JetBlue Flight From Las Vegas to L.A. Under Investigation After Bomb Threat

LAS VEGAS – Los Angeles Airport Police are investigating a JetBlue flight from Las Vegas to Los Angeles after a “disgruntled passenger” claimed his luggage contained a possible bomb, according to authorities.
The incident occurred around 2 p.m. Thursday when the passenger, who missed his flight, made the threat on JetBlue flight 879.
Las Vegas police conducted an investigation and “took enforcement action” against the passenger, LAXPD said. LAXPD also conducted their investigation to ensure that the luggage posed no threat to passengers or the aircraft.
The situation is currently under investigation.
