A man was hospitalized Tuesday morning after firefighters rescued him from a house fire in a west Las Vegas neighborhood near Jones Boulevard and Alta Drive.

Las Vegas Fire and Rescue crews responded around 7:20 a.m. to the 300 block of View Drive after multiple 911 callers reported that a single‑story home was fully engulfed in flames. Fire units arrived within minutes and immediately began suppression efforts while crews conducted a search of the residence.

Firefighters located an adult male inside the home and pulled him from the structure during the emergency response. The man received treatment at the scene before being transported to University Medical Center with smoke inhalation.

Crews launched an aggressive interior attack to control the fire and prevent further spread to nearby properties in the residential area. A primary all‑clear was declared at approximately 7:34 a.m. after firefighters confirmed no additional occupants remained inside the home.

Authorities have not released the cause of the fire. Investigators with Las Vegas Fire and Rescue are continuing to examine the scene as part of the department’s standard fire investigation process.
