LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – On Monday, the Hanukkah celebrations in the southwest Las Vegas valley continued.
Chabad Southwest Las Vegas presented a Jewish Festival of Lights celebration at FlipNOut Xtreme.
The Dancing Dreidels performed for the audience, and there were lots of jelly-filled doughnuts. Laser tag, dodgeball, zip lines, rock climbing, and other activities were also available.
The second evening of Hanukkah, which lasts eight days, began with the lighting of a menorah.
According to Rabbi Levi Wilhelm of Chabad, they intend to provide some entertainment for youngsters on each night of the festival.
“It might be dark outside, it might cold, but a little light dispels a lot of darkness,” Wilhelm said.
