
LVP Say Woman Suspected of Dui After Hitting Man in Northeast Valley

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – After hitting a person in the northeast valley on Saturday, a lady from Las Vegas was detained on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to police.
The S. area received a response from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. S. Nellis and Around 5:53 p.m., on the boulevards of Charleston. On Saturday, there was a reported serious injury collision between a car and a pedestrian.
Shermonique Batiste, 49, the driver of the car, was detained by law enforcement after showing symptoms of marijuana use impairment, according to Las Vegas police.
According to the police, the male pedestrian was hit by Batiste’s automobile after he turned off the pavement and stepped in front of it. The man was sent in serious condition to Sunrise Hospital.
On a $100,000 bail, Batiste is being detained. According to the documents, her next court appearance is set on Tuesday.
