Overnight Closure of US 95 Wednesday

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – Starting at 9 p.m., the U.S. 95 northbound lanes near Lone Mountain will be closed to traffic. 18th of January for road construction. The road will be closed till five in the morning. a.m. on January 19th.
There will be a traffic diversion to the exit for Craig Road onto N. Back on Rancho Drive, go to U.S. 95. Throughout this repair, the Craig Road exit for northbound U.S. 95 will be shut off.
The removal of falsework placed in place for bridge construction across the freeway necessitates the closure of U.S. 95. To accommodate more traffic and improve travel times in the northwest, Lone Mountain is being enlarged.
The Nevada Department of Transportation advises motorists to drive carefully in construction zones and, where feasible, take detours. Waze and NDOT collaborate to inform the public on the state of the roads.
