As a restaurant row began to form in North Las Vegas, residents discussed what these changes mean to them, as business owners voiced excitement about potential.
It’s no secret that North Las Vegas is booming, which means more business potential.
“It’s just exciting,” North Las Vegas resident Mila Sanchez said.
“As things grow, people get better opportunities,” fellow resident Gabriel Kline added. “Right now, jobs are available.”
This is particular evident on Craig Road, which runs from North 5th Street to Allen Lane and has been called “Restaurant Row.”
The corridor includes 17 new fast-food, dining, bar, and coffee shop locations, including a brand-new Raising Cane’s.
“We’re just excited to bring this out here,” Raising Cane’s Regional Vice President Stephen Short said of the new location near Craig Road and Allen Lane.
Short believes the restaurant, which opened its doors on Thursday, is an excellent opportunity for the corporation to get involved.
North Las Vegas, which ranks sixth in the country in terms of population growth, has added little under 10,000 residents since 2020.
“There’s a new restaurant popping up on every corner,” Short said of North Las Vegas. “We wanted to make sure we were a part of that growth .”
