Vehicle Fire at Encore Las Vegas Garage Extinguished, One Person Detained

Las Vegas police say one person was arrested following a fire inside a parking garage on the Las Vegas Strip Tuesday evening.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to a report of a vehicle fire just after 7:30 p.m. at the parking garage of Encore Las Vegas, near the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Desert Inn Road. Authorities said the individual allegedly set their own vehicle on fire inside the garage.
The fire was quickly extinguished, and no injuries were reported. Police confirmed that one person was taken into custody at the scene. No additional details about the suspect or potential charges have been released.
The incident remains under investigation, and police said further information will be provided as it becomes available.
