NEVADA – Governor Joe Lombardo announced on Wednesday morning that state offices in Carson City, Douglas County, Lyon County, Mineral County, Storey County, and Washoe County would have a 2-hour delayed start, opening at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, with the exception of essential public safety and corrections personnel.
The delay was prompted by recent winter storms that have caused transportation delays and difficulties in the region.
Governor Lombardo emphasized the importance of following local guidance from the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) and urged all Nevadans to drive safely and use sound judgment on the roadways.
