Lockdown Lifted at Hug High School Following Student Altercations

NEVADA – Hug High School went into lockdown on Friday morning as a precautionary measure after two separate fights broke out involving groups of students. The school principal, Cristina Oronoz, informed families via a message, and law enforcement is investigating the incidents. The lockdown was lifted once it was determined that the campus was safe. However, Oronoz has advised all students to go straight home after school unless they have after-school activities.
This incident follows a similar one at Wooster High School the previous day where large groups were involved in a fight, resulting in an early dismissal.
