NEVADA – Michael Bossie, 32, has been found guilty of robbing an 87-year-old woman in the Virginia Foothills area of Washoe County.
The Washoe County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a burglary on September 6, 2022, where the victim told police that a man ran towards her, demanded money, and dragged her to the ground before fleeing in a car. The surveillance footage from the victim’s home helped identify Bossie, who was later located and apprehended by deputies at the Atlantis Casino.
During the search of his vehicle, deputies found clothing items that matched those of the suspect. Bossie’s sentencing is scheduled for June 22.
