
New Warming Shelter Opens in Carson City

RENO, Nev. (775 Times, NV Globe) – In the midst of severe power outages and significant snowfall, Carson City said Monday that a new warming facility will open.
The Carson City Multi-Purpose Athletic Center, located at 1860 Russell Way, is home to the refuge, which officially opened on Monday. Residents can use it till 8:00 p.m. tonight.
There are bathrooms and power in the structure.
