NV Energy Seeks Approval for Electric Rate Increase in Southern Nevada

NEVADA – NV Energy seeks approval for an electric rate increase in Southern Nevada.
The proposed 3.3% average rate hike starting in 2024 would generate $92.7 million in additional annual revenue.
Single-family homes could see a 2.68% increase, while multi-family residential customers may face a 1.21% increase.
The utility states that the funds will be used for infrastructure upgrades, growth support, and ensuring reliable and affordable power.
The request is the first increase in Southern Nevada since 2011 and is subject to review and public comment.
