Pedestrian Killed After Struck by a Car at Reno

ELKO, Nev. (775 Times, NV Globe) – According to Reno police, an unidentified man was murdered Friday morning at Fifth Street and Elko Avenue when a commercial vehicle backed up and struck him around 7:45 a.m.
According to police, the man, who may have been homeless and was walking along the street, died from a severe head injury. The driver remained on the site and is helping the investigation.
