Sparks Blvd. Project Resumes on September 30, Road Closure Is Expected

SPARKS, Nev. (NV, Globe) – The Washoe County Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) is still constructing and paving the Sparks Blvd. Project.
Crews will start working at 4 p.m. on Friday, September 30 until Saturday at six in the morning.
Lane restrictions on Sparks Boulevard between Lincoln Way and I-80 will take place throughout this construction. Each direction will have one available lane. The construction zone will have slow traffic and delays for drivers. Alternative routes should be used.
- At 6 p.m. the Sparks Boulevard exit for I-80 eastbound will be CLOSED. Detour route is to the east, Vista Blvd.
- At 9 p.m. I-80 westbound will be CLOSED. Detour route is McCarran Boulevard and Vista Boulevard.
The ramp going north will be available. By 6 a.m., all ramps will be reopened on 1st of October, Saturday
