NEVADA – A water line break on Duck Hill in Storey County has led to a conservation notice being issued for Virginia City, Gold Hill, and Silver City.
Officials anticipate that the break in the raw water transmission line will be fixed by March 2nd. While the treated water system is not affected, residents are asked to conserve water until the issue is resolved.
There is no need for a boil water notice once the line is fixed. For further information, residents can contact Storey County Public Works at 775-847-0958.
