The Give Kids a Smile Program will hold its 11th annual event, delivering free dental care to underprivileged children aged 18 and under.
The event will take place on Nov. 5 at the Truckee Meadows Community College Dental Clinic, located at 7000 Dandini Boulevard, beginning at 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
If additional treatment is required, qualified children will be sent to local dentists for free or low-cost dental care.
“This incredible program is thanks to the dedication of our local dental health community that volunteers their time to help those in need,” Executive Director of the Northern Nevada Dental Society Lori Benvin said.
Northern Nevada Dental Health Programs, the Northern Nevada Dental Society, Truckee Meadows Community College, and event sponsors collaborated on the Give Kids a Smile event. This initiative, now in its 11th year, has provided free oral health care to hundreds of local underprivileged youth.
Appointments are necessary and may be made by calling (775) 982-7989 or emailing emily.fragoso@nndhp.org.
