
Warming Centers in Douglas County Close They May Reopen if Needed

RENO, Nev. (775 Times, NV Globe) – The warming centers at the East Fork Fire Protection District Station 4 and the Douglas County Community & Senior Center have both been shut down by the county. If necessary, the county will reopen the facilities.
According to Douglas County, officials are closely observing the current winter storms and weather patterns and will take appropriate action in response to local requirements.
At Harvey’s Lake Tahoe, the warming facility is still operating. The warming facility is located at 18 Highway 50 in Stateline.
