Titus, Lee, and Horsford Support Schools Hiding Gender Transitions from Parents

Nevada Democrats Dina Titus, Susie Lee, and Steven Horsford just made it crystal clear where they stand in the escalating fight over parental rights and radical gender ideology in America’s schools.
And it is not with parents.
The three Nevada Democrats voted against legislation Republicans say would restore common-sense protections in schools by putting parents back in charge of major decisions involving their own children.
The bill would require schools to get parental permission before changing a child’s pronouns, preferred name, or gender markers on official records. It would also require schools to notify parents before allowing access to opposite-sex bathrooms or locker rooms and would stop schools from pushing gender identity lessons on young children in elementary and middle school classrooms.
In other words, basic transparency.
Something today’s Democrat Party increasingly treats like a threat.
Instead of standing with families, Titus, Lee, and Horsford sided with the same activist class that believes schools should socially transition children behind parents’ backs while hiding critical information from mothers and fathers.
Republicans say the vote perfectly captures how extreme the modern Democrat Party has become.
NRCC Spokesman Christian Martinez blasted the trio, saying parents should never be cut out of life-changing decisions involving their children and accusing Titus, Lee, and Horsford of choosing radical activists over common-sense Nevada families.
The issue is rapidly becoming one of the biggest political flashpoints in the country.
Across America, parents are increasingly revolting against school systems they believe have become obsessed with ideology, secrecy, and activist politics instead of education. What began as frustration over school closures and curriculum fights has evolved into a much broader cultural backlash over gender policies, parental notification, and schools hiding information from families.
Nevada is now squarely inside that fight.
Republicans believe the politics overwhelmingly favor parents, especially among working-class families, suburban voters, and Hispanic households increasingly drifting away from Democrats on cultural issues.
And Democrats keep stepping directly into the buzzsaw.
The core question is brutally simple: should schools be allowed to make deeply personal decisions involving children without parental involvement?
Most normal people already know the answer.
But Titus, Lee, and Horsford voted with the activist wing of their party anyway.
For conservatives, the vote is not just about one bill. It is about a Democrat Party increasingly captured by radical ideology that sees parents as obstacles rather than partners. A party more worried about appeasing activist groups than protecting children or respecting families.
And Republicans are making clear they intend to force Democrats to defend that position every single day between now and 2026, because in Nevada, parents are watching.
And they are getting tired of being told they should stay quiet while activists and bureaucrats decide what is best for their kids behind closed doors.
