Las Vegas Woman Enters Guilty Plea in Fatal 2025 Photo Shoot Shooting

LAS VEGAS, NV — A 20-year-old Las Vegas woman faces a multi-year prison sentence after formally entering a negotiated guilty plea at the Regional Justice Center in connection with the fatal shooting of her friend last summer.

The defendant, Allysandra Blea, appeared in a Clark County courtroom to resolve her outstanding criminal docket. Blea pleaded guilty to amended charges of kidnapping and involuntary manslaughter regarding the death of 23-year-old model Mark Santiago Gaughan.

The Dispute and Investigation

The lethal confrontation unfolded in August 2025 during an upscale digital media photo shoot at a local residence. According to grand jury transcripts unsealed by state prosecutors, a volatile dispute erupted among the group after an extended period of social drinking.

Testimony revealed that the altercation escalated when Blea expressed intense frustration and anger regarding Gaughan’s public assertions that the two were romantically involved, a sentiment Blea did not return. The confrontation quickly turned physical, resulting in Gaughan sustaining a fatal close-range gunshot wound.

The Sentencing Structure

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department homicide detectives processed the scene and originally booked Blea on a felony count of open murder. Following extensive negotiations between public defense counsels and the Clark County District Attorney’s Office, prosecutors filed an amended criminal information matrix containing the lesser charges.

Under the parameters of the finalized plea agreement, Blea will remain in custody ahead of her formal sentencing hearing. The sentencing hearing has been locked into the court calendar for next month before a presiding district judge.
