Police Needs Help in Looking for a Hit- And- Run Driver

ELKO, Nev. – The Nevada State Police are looking for any witnesses who may have observed a pedestrian being struck on Interstate 80 close to Wells early on Monday morning.
Highway Patrol officers from the Nevada State Police responded to a possible hit-and-run accident involving a pedestrian near milepost 354 at around 6:17 in the morning. The injured person was sent to a local hospital.
The Nevada Highway Patrol Northern Command East Multi-Disciplinary Investigation and Reconstruction Team is seeking anybody with information on this event. Call 775-753-1111 to get in touch with Sgt. Mitch Payne at the NHP Elko office.
