LAS VEGAS – A fan at Sunday’s Arizona Cardinals-Las Vegas Raiders game allegedly hit an NFL player.
A video shot shows a spectator hitting Arizona quarterback Kyler Murray in the head as he celebrated.
Murray tries to confront the man, but his teammates stop him.
In the endzone, many people were reaching out to touch Murray, but it’s unclear if the man intended to do so.
Police are investigating “a battery call saying a stadium spectator hit a pro football player.”
An inquiry is ongoing after a criminal report. Police haven’t named the suspect.
Murray’s fourth NFL season. He was selected NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2019.
He’s a dynamic quarterback. In three NFL seasons, he’s thrown 11,480 yards and 70 touchdowns and rushed 1,786 yards and 20 touchdowns.
