Woman Found Dead After East Las Vegas Fire

LAS VEGAS – According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, a woman was found deceased with “suspicious injuries” following an apartment fire in the east Las Vegas valley.
According to authorities, Las Vegas Fire and Rescue responded shortly after 2 p.m. to an apartment fire in the 3800 block of East Charleston near Great Basin Highway.
According to police, after clearing the smoke from the flat, LVFR discovered a woman’s body with “suspect injuries” and notified LVMPD.
The inquiry has been handed over to homicide detectives. At this time, no additional information has been disclosed.
