Investigation Underway Following Bomb Threat Incident at Sparks CVS Store

NEVADA – Sparks police have launched an investigation into a bomb threat that occurred at the CVS store located on McCarran Boulevard, just off of Prater Way.
According to the Sparks Police Department, a call was received from the store in the early hours of Tuesday, shortly after midnight. Store employees informed officers that an unidentified individual had reported the presence of an explosive device within the store premises.
As a precautionary measure, responders swiftly evacuated the store and summoned the assistance of the Consolidated Bomb Squad. Meticulous search operations were conducted, and it was determined that the reported threat was unfounded.
