Henderson City Council Bans New Retail Stores Selling Puppies, Kittens, and Rabbits

Henderson, NV – On Tuesday afternoon, the Henderson City Council voted unanimously to pass an ordinance prohibiting the opening of new retail stores selling puppies, kittens, and rabbits within the city limits.
Public Input and Council Decision:
- The decision followed a lengthy public comment period where residents voiced their opinions on the proposed ordinance.
- Mayor Michelle Romero expressed her support for the ordinance and proposed an evaluation of its effectiveness after six months.
- The council ultimately passed the measure with a unanimous 5-0 vote.
