A high-stakes gambler has filed a lawsuit against a Las Vegas Strip casino, alleging he was allowed to continue gambling and obtain $75,000 in casino credit while incapacitated and unable to recall the events.
According to the lawsuit, the man claims he was drugged while at the property and has no memory of taking out the credit or placing the wagers. Court filings state that casino staff allegedly permitted him to gamble despite visible signs of impairment, before he was later detained by security personnel.
The complaint argues that the casino failed to follow responsible gaming and credit extension procedures, allowing the transactions to proceed while the plaintiff was not in a condition to make informed decisions. The lawsuit further alleges that the casino’s actions contributed to significant financial losses.
Casino representatives have not publicly commented on the lawsuit. The case remains pending, and the allegations have not been proven in court.
The incident is the latest legal dispute involving high-limit gambling practices on the Las Vegas Strip, where casinos are required to adhere to strict regulations governing credit, player safety, and responsible gaming standards.
