TRUMP RETURNS WEST: President to Overnight in Las Vegas Before Bullhead City Rally Across From Laughlin

LAS VEGAS, Nev. — President Donald Trump is returning to the Southwest this week, spending the night in Las Vegas before heading across the Colorado River for a major midterm rally in Bullhead City, Arizona, less than three weeks before Election Day.
Trump is scheduled to headline the October 14 rally at Laughlin Bullhead International Airport, just across the river from Laughlin, Nevada. The official event schedule lists doors opening at 9:30 a.m. Arizona time, the program beginning at 11:30 a.m. and Trump delivering remarks at 1 p.m. Registration is limited to four tickets per signup.
The visit gives Trump a stage within roughly 100 miles of Las Vegas and puts him directly in the Colorado River region linking Southern Nevada and western Arizona. Nevada Republicans are actively promoting the event, listing it on the state party’s official calendar as a “Midterm Rally in Bullhead City for President Trump.”
Trump’s itinerary also brings him physically through Nevada. After a Tuesday rally in Wasilla, Alaska, the president is scheduled to travel to Las Vegas and spend the night at Trump International Hotel. On Wednesday morning, he will depart Las Vegas for Bullhead City before continuing to Kalispell, Montana, for another rally later that day.
The Bullhead City stop comes as Republicans make their final push before the November 3 midterm elections. Arizona’s early voting is already underway, and voters there will decide contests for governor, attorney general, Congress and other offices. Trump carried Mohave County with more than 77 percent of the vote in 2024, making the area one of his strongest political bases in Arizona.
Arizona Republican Party Chairman Sergio Arellano said the rally is intended to energize Republican voters heading into the final weeks of the campaign, calling Trump’s appearance an opportunity to rally grassroots supporters behind the party’s statewide ticket.
The geography gives the event an unmistakable Nevada flavor despite its Arizona address. Bullhead City sits directly across the Colorado River from Laughlin, and the airport hosting Trump’s rally serves both communities. The Las Vegas Review-Journal noted that the president’s brief Arizona stop will come after his overnight stay in Nevada and before his trip north to Montana.
Trump has already made multiple appearances in the Las Vegas Valley this year, and Wednesday’s stop continues a late-cycle travel schedule focused on turning out Republican voters in states with competitive congressional and statewide races. KSNV reported that the Bullhead City rally is part of the president’s broader effort to boost Republican candidates ahead of the midterms.
For Southern Nevada Republicans, the president will be about as close as possible without technically holding the rally inside the Silver State: one night in Las Vegas, one quick flight south, and a packed political event just across the river from Laughlin.
