A Nevada State Senator and Mayoral Candidate’s Son Was Arrested on Attempted Murder Charges
LAS VEGAS – The son of a Nevada state senator and mayoral candidate was arrested on attempted murder charges Thursday night, 8 News Now Investigators confirmed.
State Sen. Pat Spearman, a Democrat from Carson City, is running for mayor of North Las Vegas.
Naonche Osborne, 21, was detained after the shooting in the 4100 block of Erinbird Avenue, near Elkhorn Road and Decatur Boulevard. Spearman owns the house.
Police found Osborne after he fled away. He’s charged with attempted murder, battery with a deadly weapon, and shooting into an occupied car or building.
Records reveal Osborne was charged with concealing an explosive, gun, or other weapons. After mental health therapy, the matter was dismissed.
