Seventeen-year-old Las Vegas native Claire Weinstein has made her hometown proud by securing a silver medal at the Olympics in the women’s 4×200 freestyle relay. Weinstein, a member of the Sandpipers of Nevada swim team, which trains at the Clark County Parks and Recreation’s Desert Breeze Aquatic Facility, shared the podium with teammates Paige Madden and Erin Gemmell, along with the iconic Katie Ledecky.
