Suspect Arrested in Killing of a Man Found Stabbed to Death Near Dumpster in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – Officials says, a man was detained and charged with murder in connection with the death of another guy on December 3.
Joshua Billings, 27, was apprehended in the 1000 block of North Pecos Road and lodged into the Clark County Detention Center on December 8. He is being jailed without bond following his initial appearance in court on Friday.
Officers were summoned to the alley at 1300 Sombrero Drive, near the Desert Inn and Maryland Parkway, at 1:30 a.m., according to LVMPD. Dec. 3. Police discovered an unconscious male with suspected stab wounds near a trash in the neighborhood. He was pronounced deceased at the spot.
The guy was identified as Marcos Rocha, 30, of Las Vegas, by the Clark County Coroner’s Office. He died as a result of blunt force injuries, and his death was deemed a murder.
Billings’ next court appearance is planned next Tuesday.
